Robynne Brooker
Counselling Psychotherapist, MBACP
I have both experienced and witnessed the transformative impact of therapy, through the great privilege of supporting clients as they have grown, healed, and moved toward the lives they want to lead. I bring warmth, empathy, and curiosity to my work, creating a calm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can feel heard, understood and supported without judgment. Therapy can offer you a space to pause, reflect, and build the inner resources needed to navigate life’s ups and downs with greater resilience and self-awareness. My aim is to meet you exactly where you are and support you in moving towards where you want to be.
I am a fully qualified counselling psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP, with over four and a half years of training and experience across community organisations, schools, and a wide range of client groups. My work is rooted in person-centred therapy and influenced by attachment theory, internal family systems, and individual psychology, allowing me to adapt our sessions to your unique needs and pace. I work with people who are feeling anxious or low, overwhelmed by stress or burnout, navigating major life changes, or struggling with confidence, boundaries, or the impact of past experiences. I also have experience supporting those living with ADHD or autism, including the challenges of masking and exhaustion, and am able to draw empathy from my own lived experience. Whether you are looking to process historic trauma, or are looking for a space to rediscover yourself again, you don't need to navigate these challenges alone.
Clients I work with:
- Adults (18+)
- Young people (11-17)*
*Robynne has a full, enhanced DBS check and insured to work with children over the age of 11yrs.
"Just want to say a huge thank you to Robynne. I had twelve sessions with her and she made me feel so comfortable from the start. I always looked forward to our sessions, she is such a kind and warm person and I feel so much lighter from our sessions. I have started to look at situations in a different way and understand myself more, thank you so much Robynne!"
